Erica graduated with honours from the Law Clerk program at Humber College in 2019. While a student, Erica was recognized for academic achievement and excellence by both the Business and Liberal Arts Schools, receiving the Honourable Roy Cullen, P.C. Scholarship in addition to other distinctions. Concurrent with her studies, Erica worked with her community and the Canadian Environmental Lawyers Association (CELA) in respect of a local air pollution problem, advocating for better controls and protections for residents.
Given her keen interest in people as well as legal and social justice issues, Erica naturally gravitated toward family law. In 2018, she began working with a senior family lawyer specializing in appellate and charter litigation as well as family law reform. Erica has worked exclusively in the area of family law since 2018 and has experience supporting lawyers with matters at all levels of court including the Ontario Court of Justice, Superior Court, and Court of Appeal of Ontario. Erica strives to understand and support each client throughout their family law matter and works closely with clients and lawyers to prepare financial statements, disclosure, conference and motion materials. Erica’s ability to cultivate strong working relationships and really listen to clients make her well-suited to anticipate, accommodate and respond to each client’s needs as they arise and evolve over time.
