I am the founder and Lead Counsel of Frodis Family Law, a boutique firm that opened its doors in 1998. In my practice, I’m known for my straightforward approach to legal matters, giving my clients what I believe they deserve most: full transparency and meaningful advice. While you may not come to me in a favourable situation, my caring nature and professional experience ensure an amicable process and a fair settlement from which you can happily move onward and upward.
Prior to the inception of my firm, I was an associate at Epstein Cole. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Toronto in 1988, completed my law degree at the University of Western Ontario in 1991 and was admitted to the Bar of Ontario in 1993. I’ve authored numerous papers published by the Canadian Bar Association and the Law Society of Ontario. Today, I enjoy running my practice, teaching elements of the Law Society of Ontario’s Bar Admission Course, serving as a Dispute Resolution Officer at the Ontario Superior Court of Justice in Toronto and Newmarket, and speaking at continuing legal education conferences and seminars.
At Frodis Family Law, we provide counsel on all aspects of family law and I have worked hard to ensure that we are a legal team of experts who are intelligent, compassionate, knowledgeable and competent. I’m honoured to say that I have appeared at all levels of court in Ontario, and several of my reported cases have become important precedents in the clarification or advancement of the law. Most importantly, the best interests of my clients always come first and it is this razor-sharp focus that enables me to achieve outcomes that surpass the precedent.
