Since I entered the law profession, I’ve focused my practice on family law. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work on family law cases at all levels of court in Ontario, including the Court of Appeal. I commit to acting as a reliable source of clear guidance and information for my clients, advocating on their behalf from start to finish. To me, being a lawyer also means being a team player and I always take a collaborative approach.

I studied Sociology and Anthropology at the University of Toronto before completing my law degree at Osgoode Hall Law School. During my time at Osgoode, I was involved in the Family Law Project and the Mediation Intensive Program. Today, in addition to writing and co-authoring several papers, I specialize in written advocacy and research on a variety of complex family law issues.

At Frodis, the focus is never billable hours, and rather everyone on the team genuinely cares about achieving the best possible outcome for their clients. In my practice, I set expectations early on and believe strongly in determining a strategy everyone is onboard with. My in-depth knowledge of case law, statutes and judges’ views on particular cases helps me craft highly creative proposals that achieve successful outcomes.
